Apart from hosting Family Feud and Celebrity Family Feud, Steve Harvey has taken his comedic talents to another continent for Family Feud Africa. Though U.S.-based fans of the 66-year-old TV personality might only hear about his successful spin-off, a clip from the show recently surfaced on the internet and it’s pure gold.

On social media, a minute-long clip started circulating of Steve asking Family Feud Africa contestants to “name the worst thing that can happen at a wedding.” Contestant Reabetswe from the Mabitsela family made a great guess right away: “There is no pastor.” But Steve was confused. “The pastor is not there,” Reabetswe said trying to clarify.

After hearing the player repeat himself, Steve tried his best to set the record straight. “Look, at a wedding you don’t have food. There is no food at the wedding,” he said back. While the rest of the Mabitsela family nodded in agreement with Steve, Reabetswe appeared conflicted.

“How do I put this?” he said. “Like a preacher,” someone else chimed in. “Oh, the preacher!” Steve said, quickly realizing he had misheard Reabetswe’s guess as “pasta” instead of “pastor.” Recognizing his mistake, the Family Feud host instantly lost it and threw his cards on the floor while Reabetswe continued to laugh. Steve then took a few moments to try to calm down while walking around the stage.

Family Feud fans watching the clip on TikTok were just as amused by the mix-up. “Never seen Steve laugh so hard 😂,” one person wrote in the comments section. “You know when Steve’s gonna have an awesome laugh, those cards take flight every time 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣,” another added. “I laughed literally out loud!!! 😂😂😂,” a different fan said.

That said, there were some folks who thought Steve’s interpretation of Reabetswe’s answer was actually better. “He said pasta and I said good answer,” a follower commented. “I was like 🚨🚨🚨🚨 ’THIS MAN IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT’ 🚨🚨🚨🚨,” someone else wrote. “I’m over here in the first half thinking ‘yes, absolutely fair, a wedding without pasta would be a tragedy’ 😂,” another said.

Now, it’s not clear if Reabetswe earned points for his team with his response. But it was definitely a winner for everyone watching.
